ON BEACHES AND IN HARBOURS
The BLUE FLAG is the award for beaches and ports, oldest, recognized and recognizable worldwide.
The criteria for obtaining Blue Flag are reviewed and agreed annually at international level by the National Operators.
The criteria that a BLUE FLAG BEACH must meet are divided into four main blocks:
- Environmental education and information.
- Water quality
- Environmental management.
- Security and services.
The conditions are more demanding every year and changes are reviewed and agreed on an international level by the National Blue Flag Operators.
In Dénia, the beaches of LES DEVESES, ELS MOLINS, LES BOVETES, LES MARINES, PUNTA RASET and MARINETA CASSIANA have been awarded for the 2024-2025 season.
The conditions that a MARINA with Blue Flag
must meet are divided into three large blocks:
- Environmental education and information.
- Environmental management.
- Security and services.
Also, in the category of ports, receive blue flag two marinas of the city, MARINA DE DÉNIA and MARINA EL PORTET.
