We arrive at the arroz caldoso. It is also convenient to use a special rice for the rice caldosos that assures us a consistent broth.

Among the most interesting and traditional rice dishes in Dénia are:

ARRÒS AMB FESOLS I NAPS (o ARROZ CON ALUBIAS Y NABOS, en castellano)

It is a traditional Valencian recipe that is very successful among visitors from the area who come to the community during the winter as its basic vegetable ingredients are collected at this time of year.

Its elaboration is a compendium of anthropology, since it gathers all the knowledge of the area, where it was born a century ago and where it was elaborated in times of famine to distribute it among the people who were in worse situation.

It is an exquisite arroz caldoso; a simple dish that requires little preparation. Its ingredients are basic and can be easily found in many pantries.
