Dénia offers endless activities for children and young people to enjoy their stay to the fullest. From parks and playgrounds to sports, nautical and cultural activities, the city has proposals adapted to all ages.

Younger children will find fun in workshops, shows and outdoor activities, while young people will be able to live unique experiences on the beach, practice adventure sports or participate in events and festivals designed for them.

Summer children’s attractions

During the summer months, the little ones can have fun at the funfair installed on Miguel Hernández Avenue, right in front of Mercadona. An ideal proposal for summer afternoons and evenings with the family.

Hours: from 7:30 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.

All Saints Fair

With the arrival of autumn, Dénia celebrates one of its most anticipated fairs. Coinciding with the feast of All Saints, the esplanade of Torrecremada is filled with attractions for all ages, tombolas, shooting booths, candy stalls, traditional sweets and churrerías. A classic that lasts for three weeks and has become an essential event for locals and visitors.

Big Balloon Puerto Playground

It is a playground with ball park located in the Maritime Station of Baleària Port. It offers different options such as free use, workshops, birthday celebrations. There are playful games, activities, face painting, etc., with supervising monitors.

Place: Balearia Port Maritime Station, C/ Moll de la Pansa s/n, 03700 Dénia, Alicante.
Hours: Monday to Saturday from 10:30-13:30 and 17:00-20:00

Big Balloon Dénia Toy Library

Playground with various play areas: symbolic area, baby area, reading area, small climbing wall, rings, trapezes … Also with cafeteria for companions. Ideal for birthdays or to spend a pleasant afternoon with children.

Location: Gandía Avenue, 20, first floor, on the corner with Miguel Hernández street. 03700 Denia.
Schedule: Monday to Saturday: 10:30-13:30 in the morning and 17:00-20:00 in the afternoon. Closed on holidays.

Mon Blau – Pekemon Park

Ball park located in Mon Blau. It is a fun space for children to play, ideal for leisure afternoons and to celebrate birthdays.

Place: Marqués de Campo street, 23, corner with Carlos Sentí street, Dénia.
Hours: Open evenings and weekends, and for birthday celebrations.

Municipal Sports Center

Location: Camí del Regatxo, 6

The Municipal Sports Center is the main sports complex in the city and has several facilities adapted to different sports:

Sports field: throwing, athletics and rugby (natural grass).
Diego Mena Cuesta soccer field: 11-a-side soccer on natural grass.
Indoor pavilion: basketball, handball, volleyball, rhythmic gymnastics, indoor soccer and more.
Outdoor court: basketball.
Multi-sports court with fronton: handball, indoor soccer and frontenis.
Small skating rink.
Athletic track.
Two multipurpose rooms for training and group activities.
