Marina Alta region

The Marina Alta region has an extension of 759.30 km2 and a population over 180,000 inhabitants. It is located in a privileged environment in the north of the Alicante province and in front of the Balearic Islands. It offers unlimited possibilities for the tourist who wishes to explore Dénia and its surrounding area.

Dénia is the capital of this region which offers different landscapes which captivate its visitors.

On the coast, we will discover the Montgó mountain Natural Park between Dénia and Xàbia and the Peñón de Ifach Natural Park in Calpe. Explore the cities of Dénia, Xàbia, Benissa, Teulada – Moraira and Calpe, enjoy their lovely beaches, coves, cliffs, fishermen ports, etc.

Inland, the landscape radically changes and reveals a countryside full of almond, orange and cherry trees, etc. whose small towns still conserve their traditions, caves, mountains and landscapes.

The interior zone is known as the Valles de la Marina (Marina valleys) incorporating the following valleys: Vall de Gallinera, Vall de Laguar, Vall d´Ebo, Vall del Pop and Vall d´Alcalà.

It is only a few kilometres away...not to be missed.
