Located in the Plaza de la Constitución, right in the historic center, the Dénia Town Hall is an outstanding example of neoclassical civic architecture, with its rough stone facade, columns and elegant triangular pediment. Although its foundations date back to the 17th century, what can be seen today is the result of a profound reform between 1812 and 1848, which defined its current style. Roman inscriptions and pedestals from the ancient forum of Dianium can still be seen on its façade and stairs.
At the end of the 19th century, several remodeling works were also carried out, including the construction of the small limestone bell tower that crowns the building.
Its interest as a place to visit focuses on the view of the exterior of the building and its arcades, due to its high architectural value.
Its interior is intended for the functions of the City Council as a local public management body.
