Old dockyards

The old dockyards of Dénia are a valuable testimony of the maritime past of the city. Located next to the port, these constructions served as shipyards where ships were built and repaired during the Middle Ages and the Modern Age. Their presence is a reminder of Dénia’s strategic and commercial importance in the Mediterranean, linked to both trade and naval defense.

Today, the building preserves its historical character and its cultural and patrimonial interest, which transports the visitor to the time when the city was a key point in the maritime routes.
