Museo Etnológico

Data of interest:

The ethnological museum is located in a building that is a representative model of the housing of the bourgeoisie of the 19th century, enriched by the raisin trade.

It has an interesting sample of the luxurious clothing and adornments of the bourgeoisie of the time, as well as the costumes and work tools. We also observe clear examples of urban, commercial and social development.

The building has three floors:

First floor: entrance to the building, exhibition of old photos (where you can see the process of making raisins).

Second floor, where the main rooms are located. The Manises ceramic pavement from the beginning of the 19th century by the painter Francisco Dassi (1834-1886) stands out, as well as the interesting display of luxurious clothing and jewelry.

Second floor: where the instruments and working clothes are exhibited. As well as press advertisements of the time and samples of maritime trade with different countries.
