Easy route to practice “Nordic Walking” on the slopes of the Montgó.
The first part of the route is on asphalt, until the arrival at the Camí de la Colonia, where the road becomes a track to the Cova del Camell.

The mountain vegetation has occupied the terraces where vineyards, fig, almond and carob trees were previously cultivated, a vestige of the Montgó Agricultural Colony.
In spring, flowers carpet the land, highlighting the Montgó’s biodiversity with more than 650 species of plants.
Magnificent mountain views over Dénia and the castle, the Segaria mountain range and the coastline of the Gulf of Valencia. On clear days you can see over the horizon of the sea the mountains of Ibiza, even Mallorca.
