Thursday, April 10, 2025, at 19.00 h Municipal Library, Sant Josep 6, by Luis Arciniega García, Professor of Art History at the University of Valencia. The lecture will be given as the opening of the exhibition De Temor y Seda, a magnificent exhibition on the construction, from the sixteenth century, of a complex defensive system, financed by a special tax on silk. The Gerro Tower, in visual connection with the Castle, are part of our visual and historical heritage, of great identity depth, linked to the sea and the referred coastal surveillance.
