The current Dénia, urbanistically and architecturally, is heir to the city of the second half of the nineteenth century. In its municipal district and in the region, the landscape is transformed with the monoculture of muscatel vines to be transformed into raisins, and then exported to all international markets, especially the British. It is a journey that made possible the changes of a bourgeois Dénia, enriched and pioneer in advances such as city gas or electricity.
