EXHIBITION “CHAIR PROJECT. Aesthetics in Transition: From Painting to Object” OPENING ON THE 17th AT 7 p.m.

Chair Project. Aesthetics in Transition: From Painting to Object is a collective project by Eklektix23 Art Society, bringing together 15 international artists around a shared creative challenge: exploring how the boundaries between art and craft become blurred in the contemporary context.

The exhibition creates a dialogue between two artistic languages: painting and object. Each artist presents pictorial works alongside intervened chairs that share a common aesthetic, generating a visual and conceptual interplay in which the tradition of the everyday object merges with artistic experimentation.

The participating artists come from different parts of the world, mainly Europe (Italy, United Kingdom, Ireland, Poland, Czech Republic and Germany), as well as Canada. They are: Agg Szyfter, Edith Rouco, FIESTADELARTE, Jazzin Mavrikis, Jeanne van Zweel, Jennifer Macho, Lidia Carrió, Lydia Jones, Marie Lettherd, Marta Fabbri, Martina Niubó, Nick Robinson, Salva Mascarell, Sue Mclaren and Sue Pettinger.

With this initiative, Eklektix23 Art Society invites the public to reflect on new forms of artistic production and on the ways in which everyday objects transform into carriers of aesthetic and cultural meaning.
