Koinós Dénia: Miguel Angel Hernández

The programming of the first season of Koinós Dénia: Encounters on cinema, music and thought will close on Friday December 12th with the writer Miguel Ángel Hernández

The event, which will be moderated by the philosopher and writer Javier López Alós, will take place at 7 p.m. in the hall of thePublic Library of Dénia Juan Chabás (Carrer de Sant Josep, 6). (Carrer de Sant Josep, 6)

Miguel Ángel Hernández is Professor of Art History at the University of Murcia. He has been a visiting researcher at Cornell and Columbia Universities (USA) and is one of Spain’s most internationally renowned novelists. Among his most outstanding works are Anoxia, El dolor de los demás, El instante de peligro and Intento de escapada. His essays include El don de la siesta and Yo estoy en la imagen. He was also director and co-founder of the Centro de Documentación y Estudios Avanzados de Arte Contemporáneo (CENDEAC) in Murcia.

Koinós Dénia is organized by the Cine Club Pessic and L’Esperança Coronada with the collaboration of the City Council of Dénia.
