A magnificent example of the construction, from the sixteenth century, of a complex defensive system, financed by a special tax on silk. The Gerro tower, in visual connection with the Castle, are part of our visual and historical heritage, of great identity depth, linked to the sea and the aforementioned coastal surveillance.
