As cities grow stronger, they leave in their wake arid patterns, where the color of construction bricks takes center stage. The environmental rehabilitation of localities is essential to reestablish the nature-city balance and recover lost ecosystem services. This concept will be transferred to the coastal town of Dénia, where three stations have been selected: the core of the city, two strips of the current urban expansion area, the first located in Amaltea Street and the second in Camí dels Lladres and finally the Castell. First, a study of the vegetation in these stations will be carried out, in order to subsequently develop a proposal for renaturalization. This proposal is aimed at maintaining or reintroducing native and viable vegetation, introducing alternatives to revegetate the most affected areas. The proposal will include an awareness campaign to gain the support of the local population. Finally, the conference will end with a SWOT analysis to check the feasibility of the proposals. All this in order to create an ecological and resilient urban environment in the face of climate challenges.More information:Ethnological Museum966420260.
