Beaches

With more than 20 kilometers of coastline, Dénia offers a wide variety of beaches for all tastes: long stretches of sand, rocky coves with crystal clear waters, quiet areas for relaxation or ideal stretches for water sports, as well as beaches and coves in protected marine reserves.

The coastline is divided into two main areas: les Marines, to the north of the town offers wide, sandy beaches, except for a few stretches of pebbles in l’Almadrava; and les Rotes, to the south, with a sandy family beach followed by natural rocky coves perfect for snorkeling and contact with nature.

The beaches of Dénia have a variety of certifications that guarantee their quality of services and environmental quality.

The treasure of Dénia’s coastline is the posidonia oceanica, a protected habitat and lung of the mediterranean that fills the seabed of Dénia with life. Its presence on the beach is essential to prevent erosion and marine regression.
