It is one of the most sensitive marine enclaves of the Valencian coast due to the presence of posidonia meadows and marine species of high ecological value.
It is located in the northern area of the port of Dénia, occupying more than 4,600 hectares that extend in the seabed away from the coast. It is of interest for professional diving and bird watching. Its access is only by boat. Anchoring is not allowed in order to preserve the underwater meadows.
