The course consists of 20 Spanish lessons per week (4 each day) in a group of a maximum of 12 students that take place in the morning from 9:30 to 12:45. In this course the 4 skills (reading, listening, speaking and writing) are practiced in a very dynamic way. Before arrival, the student has to take an online Spanish test to know his or her level so that we can select the best group.
In the afternoon, after lunch at the Spanish family’s home, we organize daily activities, including beach games, excursions, snorkeling, cultural visits, etc., and on weekends we make excursions to other cities. All these activities are included in the package and are supervised by a TLCdénia activity monitor.
Schedule: Monday to Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. (course) + daily activities. The activities have different schedules, generally from 16:00-17:00 to 19:00-20:00. On weekends, excursions are usually full day.
Accommodation is in the homes of carefully selected host families who not only treat the students as if they were their own children, but who have also had previous experience with young foreigners and who are very committed to practicing the language being learned. The school regularly checks how the students are doing in their accommodation to make the trip as successful as possible.
