Getting around Dénia by car

Driving around Dénia can be comfortable if you drive at your leisure. Although the historic center has narrow streets and limited traffic areas, the car is ideal for exploring the surroundings, accessing viewpoints, more secluded beaches or residential areas.

There are public and private parking lots scattered throughout the city, as well as areas along the coast. In high season or during festive events, it is advisable to park in the parking lots on the outskirts of the city center and walk a few minutes to the center. It is also a good idea to carry a GPS to avoid pedestrian or loading and unloading zones that can complicate access.
