Cycling on rural roads

The Dénia Greenway, laid out on the old railway line, is ideal for gentle routes with good road surface and signage, perfect for families and urban cyclists.Another popular option links Dénia with Jávea through the interior (not through the mountains: high difficulty) or Jesús Pobre, with marked trails recommended by platforms such as Wikiloc.

Mountain routes (BTT)

The Montgó tours are more demanding, with technical climbs, rocky stretches and views of the Mediterranean Sea for those seeking adventure on two wheels.

There are also guided tours available by specialized cycling tourism companies, such as the “Pata Negra” route, which show the surroundings or rides through orange groves, almond groves and protected areas.

Infrastructure and services

In the city center there are numerous bike racks distributed along the main streets and near the port.In addition, you can hire guided tours and rent e-bikes or mountain bikes from several local operators.
