Route 16: Tollos and Collado de Vall de Laguar

Although it is not the longest route, it can be considered the most intense route due to the steepness of its steep slopes.

We will climb the port of Vall d’Ebo, the ramps of the Cova del Rull and once past the town of Alcalá de la Jovada we will take the road to Beniaia and Tollos (CV-713). This road of very hard ramps was asphalted for the “Vuelta España” in 2016.
Once in Tollos, we will exit to the CV-720 and we will have a good stretch of downhill, mostly to Castell de Castells.

We continue towards Benigembla until a detour to the left to face this last but very hard pass that climbs up to the pass of Vall de Laguar (at the beginning of this secondary road there are a few meters without asphalt).
Once crowned our last challenge there is a long descent through the beautiful valley of La Vall de Laguar (be careful with the first part of the descent to the first village, Benimaurell, as there is a steep slope and the asphalt is not good).
Once down we return to Dénia passing through Sagra, Beniarbeig and Ondara.
