On the road Colonia, there are totems with explanatory panels about the Penya de l’Àguila archaeological site.
This settlement is considered to be the origin of the Roman city of Dianium, and recent research links it to the presence of Roman troops. It is located on high ground, allowing control of the fertile coastal plain and the access routes to the interior.
Access: The vicinity of the Colonia road can be accessed by private vehicle (Pare Pere area).
Accessibility: Only to the area where the information panels are located, access by private vehicle.
