Shopping: A visit to the Sant Vicent Ferrer Winery and Cooperative is a must to sample the award-winning muscatel and mistela. The market is held on Wednesdays. On the way: 3 km from Moraira lies the Chapel of La Font Santa.
In the coastal town centre, highlights include the Church of La Mare de Déu, the fishermen’s streets with their ancient wall (the margenot) and Moraira Castle (18th century) with its ‘ox hoof’ layout.

Shopping: Avenida de la Marina Alta is famous for its shops selling wicker, palm and cane goods, as well as for the production of guitars and bobbin lace. Gastronomy: Its traditional cured meats and mistela are particularly noteworthy, ideal for accompanying almond sweets and pumpkin fritters.
