This is the longest and most difficult of all the routes described, due to its distance and height, as well as the floor in several sections. It is recommended for those who are used to walking on mountain trails or are willing to try the challenge.
NOTICE: The recommendations for risk prevention in the mountains must be strictly followed.
We share the same access route as to the Creueta. When we reach the flat Montgó, instead of turning left towards the Creueta, we continue straight on the path. We continue 500 meters until we pass by a lone pine and a cave carved into the rock. The cave can serve as a shelter in case of adverse weather conditions. We will walk about 500 meters from the detour of the route to the Creueta just when the trail passes next to a solitary pine and a natural shelter dug into rock. This point can serve as a shelter in case of adverse weather conditions.
Ascending gently 200 meters more we will find the summit with a geodesic vertex (753m).
If we look around, we will find some black junipers remaining on this mountain, in a landscape of extreme sobriety.
We will be able to enjoy a well-deserved rest surrounded by stunning views of the sea, sky, valleys and nearby mountains.
The descent to the east has a steep start with a steep slope between rocks, which will force us to move forward with the help of our hands, for safety. We continue the descent in constant zig-zag following the path. This descent of the hill is marked as PR CV-355.
Shortly before the end of this zig-zag we take the detour to the left towards the Cova del Camell, and from there we join the Camí de la Colonia until we reach the starting point.
