Jesús Pobre – Millenary olive tree

If anything is striking on this route is the rural architecture, an exponent of the human footprint in the creation of this agricultural environment. Customs and lifestyles linked to subsistence agriculture have been preserved until fairly recent times.

The Montgó is shown to us with a different face, offering a particularly beautiful picture when the nearby almond groves that serves as a natural backdrop are in bloom. It is a burst of contrasting colors that magnifies the charm of the route.

The protected agricultural area around the massif forms an unknown complex of great beauty just a few minutes from the heavily urbanized coastline.

ATTRACTIONS:

Riurau del Senyoret, church and convent of Jesús Pobre, rural houses of Cases Noves, cypress trees of the cemetery (see commentary Route 6) and the millenary olive tree.
